Introduction

Humans begin to be aware of the existence of life and the fact that life comes and goes at about the age of 6 and will think about this issue throughout the entire lifespan. As a female artist, when being asked about life and death by her children, Dominique Yen chooses to discuss with them by reading children’s books on life issues. One way to teach children about social issues is to guide them to reflect on death while still living, to learn about the essence and value of life through this approach of relativity. Yen brings games into dance for the purpose of perceiving the flow of life in the interactions of playing. The audience and the dancers can “Play” together, watch together, and create the theatre together. The audience can choose between participating and just watching, meaning that they can choose to see life and death, which are constant, from different angles with different interpretations.
